The list with the Wyckoff positions for each magnetic space group can be obtained containing the multiplicity, the letter of each position and the representatives within the unit cell. A table containing the site symmetry groups of selected representatives of each Wyckoff position is also provided. The representative within the site symmetry groups table can be changed by clicking the corresponding representative in the list of Wyckoff positions. A list of those particular symmetry elements belonging to the site symmetry group for the selected representative can be obtained by clicking in the corresponding site symmetry group symbol.
The space groups are specified by their label as given in the original listings made by Opechowski-Guccione (1) and Belov-Neronova-Smirnova (2). You can give this number if you know it, or you can choose it using the tables with the space group and magnetic space groups labels and symbols if you click on the button [choose it].
If you want to see the Wyckoff positions in the conventional setting, just click on the button [Conventional Setting]. If the label of the magnetic space group has been specified then the list with its Wyckoff positions is shown. Otherwise, you are asked to select the group from the table with the space group symbols and labels.
If you are interested in a non conventional setting for the Wyckoff positions,
click on [Non Conventional Setting]. This will show a form to enter the
transformation matrix that relates the conventional setting with the non
conventional one you want to use. Only change of basis matrix with determinant equal to one are accepted.
